Measuring for shutters is one of the easiest, but most critical steps. The way you measure for inside mount or outside mount plantation shutters differs slightly, so please follow the instructions. Dust should be removed with a soft vacuum brush, with the blades tilted for easiest access. Wiping with woven cloths should be avoided. After dusting, use a light moistened chamois type cloth. Be sure to remove all excess moisture. Do not use any household cleaning compounds or sprays as many of these products contain strong chemicals which can be corrosive to paint and lacquer finishes.
Easy Repairs
Shutter blades can be removed easily if ever damaged. Blades are spring loaded. If a blade gets damaged, only one blade needs to be replaced with no fuss, remove the tilt rod, the blade can be taken out and is easily replaced.
