For the 8th year of the Linkin Park Underground fanclub, Linkin Park decided to release a CD of entirely new material. MMM...Cookies - Sweet Hamster Like Jewels From America! consists of 6 songs, referred to as "cookies" by Mike Shinoda. Rather than "demos" or "seeds," which refer to early versions of songs recorded for album consideration, "cookies" are the light-hearted joke songs that Chester and Mike record as a break from the stress that comes with writing an album.
