The Mineral Group is for the rock and mineral enthusiast. Rocks and minerals are all around us. We see and use them every day, but most people who are not very familiar with them, learn more about them in a social atmosphere.
The mineral group meet in the club hall on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 6.30pm. The cost of the class is $5. This meeting generally consists of a talk on a particular rock/mineral or two and then a session in identifying a handful of minerals. In the months of January, April and October, the group meets at 6pm for a light supper. All members are more than welcome!
