I have had experience in programming in database language Dbase III+. As a member of a team at College of Science in Erbil-Iraq, I was involved in upgrading the conventional library book system to a computerized system. I have also developed a student administration system and a staff payroll system for the college using the same programming language (Dbase III+).
With UNICEF I have developed an inventory system for water supplies, medical supplies, stationery and office/ computer equipment using Dbase IV. I have also used Dbase IV to prepare summary reports from Lotus or Excel spread sheets.
During my employment with James Cook University, I have used Access for Windows extensively including SQL in data analysis. With the "Theatre Utilization" research project I have analyzed three files obtained from daily Townsville General Hospital records, each containing at least 8000 records.
