Formed around February 2002, Italian Car Enthusiasts of Tasmania was started by an advertisement being placed in the local Launceston newspaper requesting any owners of Italian vehicles to gather at a meeting place & discuss the formation of an Italian Car Enthusists Group.

The result was that an amount of owners & admirers attended and formed the "Italian Car Enthusiasts" group.
Known today as ICETAS, Italian Car Enthusiasts of Tasmania, the group consists of the great Italian marques.

Fiat, Lancia, Alfa Romeo, Ferrari & Lamborghini have all been represented.
