My 95 Integra GSR won't start. This problem started about a month or two ago. I was driving when it died and the check engine light came on. I checked the code and it was code 15 (Ignition output). The same thing has happened a few times since then. It dies a lot of the time when I get it above 4 or 5 thousand RPMs. It has also not started a few times after it has sat outside all day. I towed it to a shop a couple of weeks ago but when they started to work on it, it started right up for them. Yesterday I could not get it to start and still can't. I have searched about code 15 and it seems that most of the time it is the distributor. Do you think that is what my problem could be or is it something else? Thanks a lot for all of your help!

my 92 integra did that all the time..except i never had any codes.i would losen up the gas cap and that would work sometimes.mine only acted up in the summers.

Yesterday when I could not get it started I thought it was out of gas because it was below the empty mark so I got more gas and opened the tank and put it in but it still would not start. Thanks for your reply.

I just checked for spark. At first there was no spark and it would not turn on. I checked again and there was a spark and it fired right up. I took out all of the spark plugs and cleaned them and checked the gaps. After doing that I tried to start it and it would not start. I checked for spark and at first there was no spark. I checked it again and there was a spark and it started up. Now it starts normaly. I am really confused. Can someone give me any ideas?

By the way, there is a very strong gas smell. My whole gradge smells like gas and the door is even open. I don't know if that will help give anyone any ideas but I thought it might have something to do with the problem. Thanks

relays maybe? check under your dash and make sure they're all nice and snug
