Choosing musical entertainment is one of the most difficult aspects of organising a wedding. There are many great live wedding bands out there – if you want to pay thousands of dollars. There are duos and solo performers – great for low-key receptions and dinner music, but they might not fill your dance floor later in the night. There are DJs – if you want to pay someone to play other people’s music. And there’s the bargain basement option – ‘Uncle Joe’ on the CD player.
Then there’s HIGHLY STRUNG. There’s nothing we love more than turning a good wedding into a great wedding with our music. We provide professional live entertainment at affordable prices. Our fee is negotiated with you, based on your budget, venue, location, special requests and other factors. We always strive to keep our fee as low as possible. But that doesn’t mean we’ll short-change you or your guests on entertainment.
Your HIGHLY STRUNG performance fee will include the following:
* Three or four sets of live music (30-44 songs in total)
* Hire, installation and management of PA
* Professional-standard stage and dance-floor LED lighting
* iPod music played before/after show and during breaks
* Wired or wireless microphones for speeches
* A sound and lighting technician and band liaison
* A master-of-ceremonies (if required)
* Special effects, such as smoke, mirrorball, etc. (if required)
* Musical entertainment for your ceremony (piano/organ and/or vocalist, if required)
Once your booking is confirmed, HIGHLY STRUNG will work closely with you as you plan your happy day. We structure musical entertainment to suit your own tastes and those of your guests. We accommodate requests from our repertoire. We’ll also consider learning your favourite song or bridal dance – just for you. We’ll do whatever we can to make your wedding day memorable for you and a big hit with your guests!
