Award winning artist, Laura Matthews, chats with Claudia Chan Shaw.
Laura’s latest series of paintings are glorious, spontaneous depictions of the landscape. And figures within that landscape. Cliffs and rivers…waterfalls. There’s a lot of water. But behind the idyllic scenes lies the thought that everything in life is a calculation. And that things can change at any moment...
You can see Laura's work at Gallery Lane Cove + Creative Studios. Her exhibition, The Calculation (Flux) runs 24 April - 18 May with an opening celebration Wednesday 1 May, 6pm - 8 pm.
