G.S.B Chemical Co. is a 100% Australian owned chemical manufacturer of lithographic pressroom chemicals including FOGRA approved blanket and roller washes, isopropyl alcohol-free fountain solutions, leading technology web offset silicone emulsions and lithographic overprint varnishes.

Our expertise in formulating press chemicals has allowed GSB to become one of the leading suppliers to web offset and sheet fed printers in Australia.

We have developed, through extensive research and field trials, fountain solutions for various dampening systems from Heidelberg, Man Roland, Komori, Goss, Sakurai and Shinohara presses.

Our blanket and rollers washes have been fine tuned on automatic wash systems from Baldwin and Oxy-Dry and tested on rollers from Bottcher, Katsura and Brissett. We are also one of the few manufactures to have FOGRA approval for products manufactured from Australian raw materials.

GSB Chemical Co. is Australia's largest converter of silicone oil to silicone emulsions. Our team of specialists has solved all the problems of web offset silicone emulsions including emulsion separation at high temperatures, control of static, elimination of biological contamination and flinging at high web speeds.

GSB now manufactures a range of lithographic overprint varnishes competitive with "benchmark" products from Germany and Japan. Our Gloss, Satin and Matt varnishes show superior scuff, yellowing and drying.
