Five Senses Education has over 40 years experience as a niche educational supplier, operating as an educational retailer of quality educational toys, children’s books and textbooks – and as a provider of tutoring services.
In the last decade Five Senses Education has expanded its operations to include a publishing and distribution arm and supplies over 1500 titles to tuition centres, bookshops and other retailers in Australia and the region.
Retail stores
We currently have 2 bricks and mortar stores – in North Rocks and Seven Hills in north west Sydney.
Our web store has been operating since 2005 and we are continuing to expand our range of products every day.
Tuition
Five Senses employs nearly 100 teachers and tutors, providing one-to-one tutoring to hundreds of students. We also run educational sessions for pre-schoolers, and provide resources, advice and assistance for parents of young children learning at home.
School texts and supplies
If you are buying resources for your school, we offer competitive terms for bulk purchases and are happy to arrange samples for you to consider which resources will best suit your needs.
We also offer a booklist service which enables schools to outsource the sale of textbooks to their students to us. Students can then order through our website and have their order delivered to their home address.

Publishing and Distribution
We print and distribute educational books and products to retail customers for over 15 Australian publishers.
We also print books and workbooks on demand for coaching colleges and schools when they have developed their own content for use in their own school or beyond.

Our history
Five Senses Education commenced operations in 1971, as a teaching centre providing one-to-one tutoring for children with learning difficulties. To meet the needs of those children we began to source educational toys and books which at that time were only available for schools from specialist educational suppliers.
At this time Five Senses was one of only a small number of retailers supplying educational needs of parents and students for use at home. Over the years our activities have expanded to encompass an extensive retail range of toys, childrens books, text books, teachers' reference' study guides and electronic educational products.
