Glenis Phillips is an educator, investor and expert in both personal finance and mathematical modelling.

Initially trained as a teacher, Glenis completed her teaching career at Townsville Teachers College as a lecturer.  Since that time, she has spent the last thirty-five years, managing her husband’s specialist medical practice; establishing and managing two small businesses, renovating and managing privately owned rental properties, and investing directly in the share market and fixed interest securities, through a self-managed superannuation fund.

Glenis Phillips has both a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investments and a Diploma in Financial Advising from the Securities Institute of Australia.  She also has a Financial Analysis Certificate, by Distance Learning from University of Technology, Sydney.

She has never worked in the financial planning industry. Through personal investment strategies developed over many years, Glenis has created series of complex mathematical models for interactive personal finance using Excel.These models are designed to be incorporated into Personal Finance software for computers, tablets and mobile phones.

In addition, Glenis has developed a series of teaching modules and exercises using the simulators to demonstrate and explain how to create dynamic financial plans.

Currently Glenis Phillips is a board member of Plencore Wealth Ltd and Plencore Online Pty Ltd.  She is the designer of the product Financial Mappers, cloud based modelling software for Personal Finance.  This software is sold on the web site www.financialmappers.com.au
