Everest is a friendly club style lodge with self-catering facilities.

Lose yourself in this large split level lodge with first class facilities for the skier or the summer hiker:

• Full time resident manager during winter
• 7 private bedrooms sleeping 4, 6 or 8 in winter
• 8 private bedrooms sleeping 2, 4, 6 or 8 in summer
• Gas Log fire in the large living area
• All rooms centrally heated
• Endless ‘instantaneous’ hot water
• Full self-catering commercial kitchen

- All cooking utensils, crockery etc.
- Dishwasher
- Microwaves
- Gas & electric ovens & hotplates
- Fridge & freezer space for large groups
- Basic condiments provided (Tea, Coffee, Sugar, ect.)

• Large dining area catering for families and groups up to 36
• Laundry facilities
• Children’s games & toys
• Lodge is cleaned for you twice weekly
(winter only)

Winter
• Drive up to the fully sealed (no mud!) unloading area next to the day carpark
• Unload within 75m of Everest and transfer your gear to the lodge
• Then park your car in one of several carparks only 200m from the lodge

Summer
• Park in front of the lodge
• Snow can fall at any time - carry chains in Autumn & early Spring
• Use the day car park if the weather looks doubtful

Use this checklist to help you enjoy your stay.

For the trip to Baw Baw
• Antifreeze for the car or bus
• Chains must be carried & fitted when instructed
• Gloves & jacket to fit chains
• Car battery in good condition
• Torch
• Ambulance cover – evac by ground or air ambo can cost $1000’s

Hints when parking
• Don’t leave your hand brake on - it may freeze overnight!
• Lift the wipers off the windscreen - they may freeze to the windscreen

For the lodge
• Bedding – Guests must provide pillow slip (pillow supplied), bottom sheet, doona or sleeping bag
• Food & drinks – BYO Food and Drinks (Pub & Restaurant are available on the mountain)
• Warm waterproof ski clothes – these can be hired at the BawBaw Ski Hire – 5165 1120
• Casual clothes
• Bathroom & personal needs, medications etc.
