Environmental sensitivity, council regulations and of course your budget are all important ingredients in the design process. The aim is to create a nourishing, healing residence that will bring joy and pride into your life.

After our initial consultation, we develop a ‘brief’. From there I will make a concept proposal. Through plans and 3-D computer presentations, including photo realistic renderings and ‘fly through’ you will be able to understand and see what the design looks like. No guess work. It is essential that you feel involved and have confidence in the creation of your project.

When the design concept is developed to your satisfaction, we can engage a builder to estimate the building costs. Once you are happy with the design and the costs, we are ready to move forward with the project. I then organise all the required reports and forms for the Development Application (DA) and make the submission to Council on your behalf.

During Council’s DA assessment period, we can start preparing the documents for the Construction Certificate stage (CC). I organize the Geo-tech/survey reports and engineer’s details and I will provide the required CAD construction drawings and specifications. Throughout you can be involved in the process. The level of documentation is now ready for a builder to prepare a quote. Together we select the builder.

Depending on the size of the project and your requirements, I can help you develop the interior fit out details for kitchens, bathroom and robes. Additionally, I can assist you to specify material finishes and colours, supervising the building process and ensuring quality and financial control.
