After placing a project on hold for just over five years Creative Treasury is now a work in progress. The idea came about in 2009 but then I became involved with The Handmade Show – the crafters and artisans boutique market – which staged it’s first market in January 2010; and full time work. Having now retired as organiser of the market I can now concentrate on setting up Creative Treasury.
I’m building up a delightful world filled with creativity and gorgeous treasures – handmade, artistic, decorative, recreated, up-cycled, re-purposed, and vintage recreated – because life is too short for cheap imports.
This will possibly be a long process for me but I do like a challenge. Hopefully it won’t be too long and we’ll see this site blossom with lots of gorgeous creative treasures.
Through the doors of the creative hubs lie stories behind every creation and every maker. Come and find out more ~ what inspires them and how they develop their ideas. Perhaps even those who have never tried to make, bake, craft, draft or write may become inspired to get creative.
