GRAMPIANS WIMMERA MALLEE WATER

Mallee Towns Pipeline Project

The Mallee Towns Pipeline project consists of a 132km pipeline connected to the Wimmera Mallee pipeline, supplying the townships of Beulah, Brim, Sea Lake and Woomelang with reticulated drinking water supply.

Envirotech Water was contracted by principal Mitchell Water to design, construct and commission the water supply infrastructure for the project, including:

  • Two pumping stations and two 2.4 megalitre storage tanks at Warracknabeal
  • Pumping station and two 1 megalitre storage tanks at Hopetoun
  • Design and construct four Chlorinators
  • Construction of three storages at Sea Lake from 0.8 to 2.4ML

GRAMPIANS WIMMERA MALLEE WATER

South West Loddon Pipeline Project

The South West Loddon water supply project was completed in February 2020 and consists of over 1,300km of pressurised stock and domestic pipelines connecting the west waranga channel with the Wimmera Mallee pipeline. The pipeline connects over 600 properties over 2900 square kilometres and provides a secure water supply for the climate-stressed region of south west Loddon in North West Victoria.

Envirotech Water was contracted by principal Mitchell Water to design, construct and commission the water supply infrastructure for the project, including:

  • Design and construction of fifteen pump stations.
  • Installation and commissioning of 38 pump sets.
  • Design and construction of eight water storage tanks between 800 and 1200KL.
  • Installation of nine pressure-reducing stations, including sixteen flow control valve assemblies and three pressure-sustaining stations.

GRAMPIANS WIMMERA MALLEE WATER

Harrow Urban Water Supply Upgrade

  • July 2018 - March 2019

Envirotech Water was engaged by Goulburn Wimmera Mallee Water to construct new water storage to replace the old earthen reservoir and pump station in Harrow to increase reticulation water pressures and improve water quality for the township.

Envirotech was awarded principal contractor for the detailed design, supply, construction and commissioning of all mechanical, civil, and electrical works and infrastructure for the project, including:

  • Tank inlet monitoring assembly.
  • Low-level reticulation flow meter assembly.
  • Booster pump station.
  • Diesel gen-set and associated civil works.
  • Electrical switchboard and SCADA upgrade.
