My Family and I went to Table Rock Lake the last week in July like we do every year. One of those days is spent at Silver Dollar City. This year while walking around SDC, I looked up and saw Jim Bob right in front of me. It took me a second to realize why he was familiar. I looked behind me and there was Michelle. My family, which I thought was a large group was surrounded by the Duggers!!! I leaned over and whispered to my brother in law, "there's the lady from TLC with all the kids!" He said, "No it's not. That's not Kate." I laughed and decided to tell my sister, which she had already noticed. Later in the day, we went to the kiddie rides. With 4 small ones we were there quit a while. We spent a lot of time in line with the Duggers, and taking cover from the rain with them. At one point in the middle of a down pour, they began rounding up children in a panic, and tried to take my son. I laughed and said, HE'S MINE!!!
They were VERY polite and I was so impressed by them. Can't wait to see if the Silver Dollar City trip will be a show.

I have met them (well Jim Bob and some of the older children) at a political event. They were VERY nice and I got my picture take with them. Thus, I hope this site doesn't turn into a Duggar-bashing site.

A good friend of mine spotted them in Pensacola, FL today.

Saw the whole family in Florida today. They seemed very happy and were even talking to strangers on the street. What a great family, although be it a large family.

I saw the Duggers at Silver Dollar City twice. Once with the camera crew, once without. The first time I spotted them and was telling my mom and she was like "no way that is so not the Duggers" and it was. The second time, while in the car on the way to Branson I said "wouldn't it be funny if we saw the Duggers again??" and we did!
I wanted to talk to some of them because a friend of mine who is a news anchor in Tulsa did a feature story over them a couple of years ago. I started watching the show 17 and counting last week and I love it! I've been writing about it on my blog :) It was cool seeing this week's episode where they went to SDC. The entire time I watched it I was looking for myself :)

I grew up in Springdale, AR. My parents live close to the Samaritan Shop where the Duggars shop for clothing. My mom has seen Michelle there with a couple of kids.

My Mom lived in the same area as the Duggars some time back (like 4-5 years ago) and shares the same religious beliefs. She was pretty well aquainted with Michelle Duggar. According to my Mom, she has never met a kinder, more gentle or a more patient woman in all her life. She didn't know JimBob as well but she liked him too, though she did say he seemed to come off as arrogant and slightly "know it all" ish sometimes. But once you got past that he was a kind man as well and very, very smart with a ton of business savvy. Both were loving parents and they seemed like a very emotionally close, bonded family - which was amazing to her because the family was quite large, even then. She was impressed with how much the older siblings really showed caring and compassion for the younger ones.

I go to school at University of Arkansas (which is very close to where they live.) I have seen them twice, but I have never met them or spoken to them. Once was at the Jones Center. They were ice skating. Another time I saw them on the side of the road selling puppies, it looked like. I am a Christian, but I am very Liberal. However they really fascinate me, and Michelle is a role model for me.

Michelle and I go to the same OB/GYN office. My husband and I saw her in the waiting room last year. Unfortunately, we were there for an infertility workup. We found it interesting that we were both there at the same time, but we are dealing with very different child bearing situations.
