Elisabeth Grant

Bachelor Arts
(Graphic Design, Honours, Swinburne University)
Creative Director

Elisabeth has 29 years’ experience in the graphic design and advertising industries.
She was a senior art director in two major Melbourne agencies, producing press, print and
television advertising for Hollandia Shoes, Hang Ten, Hilton Fashions, Croner Toys,
The Department of Justice, Bonlac Milk, Bega Cheese, Tourism Victoria and the Victorian
Traffic Accident Commission. She established her own consultancy E.G. Design in 1990,
and formed Elisabeth Grant Design Pty Ltd trading as Designgrant in 1999.

Elisabeth is personally involved with all contracts from initial briefing, project management,
design supervision of employees, quotation and supplier management, to print liaison
and print production supervision. Her excellent knowledge of marketing and communication
strategy complements her design management skills. Corporate communication, press and
print advertising campaigns, brand design, brochure, photographic art direction and display
and annual report design all feature strongly in Liz's folio.

She has recently worked on projects for Dairy Australia, The Victorian Catchment Management Council, Forest and Wood Products Australia, Breast Cancer Network Australia and has been responsible for
the creative direction on all of the recently successful Brighton Grammar School advertising campaigns.

Liz was a Design Judge for the Tasmanian PiCA Awards for nine years, 2003 – 2011 and a Design Judge for the Australasian Religious Press Association Awards for Excellence in 2013 and 2014.

She has been a Director on the national board of the Australian Graphic Design Association since September 2013.



Jemma Donnellan
Bachelor Design,
(Visual Communication, Monash University)

Senior Graphic Designer

As well as being a creative thinker and designer, Jemma has excellent pre-press and
print management skills. Experience includes production of annual reports, logo design,
promotional folders and education kits, posters and brochures.  Jemma has worked for
Designgrant for six years and has an excellent knowledge of our client’s requirements
and expectations.

Jemma has recently worked on projects for Dairy Australia, Diabetes Australia, NEC Australia,
the Grey Army, The Salvation Army, The Victorian Catchment Management Authority,
The Victorian Climate Change Adaptation Program and The Breast Cancer Network Australia.

 

Chris Sharpe
Bachelor of Arts
(Graphic Design, Swinburne University)

Studio Manager

Chris has come to Designgrant bringing a wealth of technical and administrative
design management knowledge, having worked in some of Melbourne’s best graphic
design studios for over 30 years. Chris has worked as a graphic designer, finished artist,
IT manager and studio manager. Her role at Designgrant is to manage all day to day
studio business, including work-in-progress, quotations, purchase orders, printer liaison,
budgets and administrative client communications.
