When calibrating monitor: turn off Samsung MagicBright?

Hello.
I recently purchased the Huey Pro monitor calibrator. I'm using it to calibrate my Samsung SyncMaster 215TW.
The monitor itself comes with MagicBright software which allows the user to select from 6 predefined viewing modes (Text, Internet, Game, Sports, Movie, Custom).
For those that have calibrated a Samsung with MagicBright, how did you handle? I put my monitor into the Custom mode and ran the calibration from there. I assume as long as I keep it in Custom mode my settings will remain the same (except for the Pro's ambient room light changes which can be disabled)?
Samsung also has something called Color Tone which can be set to Cool, Normal, Warm or Custom. Again, I have it set at Custom which opens up another area to adjust the RGB directly. I have left the RGB settings as is, figuring the calibrator would take care of all of this.
I've run the calibrator a few times under varying lighting conditions (dark room, full sun, flourescent light) and received almost exact results each time.
I do find the calibrated colors quite warm, however I've read that it could just be my eyes adjusting from an overly cool setting in the past (I always tend to prefer cooler whites). Also, my cursor (standard windows default cursor) is a glaringly cool white compared to the rest of the whites on my display (including a blank white CS3 canvas), any reason for this?
And last but not least, the Huey Pro has a somewhat manual process for adjusting brightness and contrast. I could never get the top of the circle tests to look exactly like the bottom. I've come close, but no combo of brightness and contrast gets them exact. I'm at a contrast of 65 and brightness of 50. Does that sound reasonable?

I have the same excellent monitor. I calibrated mine using a Spyder 2 and as you suggest, put the embedded Samsung settings to custom.
Each calibration tool is a bit different so I cannot comment about your settings--your ambient room lighting is probably different than mine as well.
That said, as a point of reference only, here are my settings that work quite well for my taste:
Contrast: 67
Brightness: 78
Red: 40
Green: 55
Blue: 55
The key is really keeing the brightness down to around 110cd/m2. Perhaps your Huey software has a setting for managing brightness.
