Can you make me Special Retracts for my project?
As well as the standard range of retracts that we manufacture, I am also able to offer a ‘custom building’ service to modelers. For example, adapting oleo struts to multi-wing aircraft such as the ‘Stearman’. I can also design and manufacture ‘Scale’ undercarriage systems for aircraft with twin legs such as the ‘Mosquito’, ‘Lancaster’, ‘Beaufighter’, and a number of others.

How long does it take?
As we custom make each retract to your requirement it can take up to 6 weeks if everything is in stock. However it can take a bit longer if we have to order parts, or have special castings made.

I would like to place an order, what information do you need?
Select your retracts type from the Product page and supply the following information:

Aircraft Type including wing span, Brand and weight.
OLEO size, wheel size and type of leg (straight or offset yoke)
Retract angle. Standard 90 degree, or scale 85,90,95 degrees.
Axle size and angle. They come in standard M4, M5 and ¼” BSW for larger retracts.
Distance from pivot point to center of axle.
Any special requirement like rotation, location of scissor bands etc.
Name Phone number and Shipping Address.

How much are the Retracts?
All prices quoted on the website are in Australian dollars. They are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to make changes to improve our products.Prices might vary depending on customers special requirements.

What Warranty do I get?
All components supplied with any set of ‘Custom Retracts’ or ‘Custom Struts’ are covered by a 12 month warranty from
the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect installation, accident or abuse.
This warranty is void if the retracts or components have been modified in any way other than the adjustments outlined in the installation manual.

I had a heavy landing, do you do repairs?
As all major components are made in Australia, replacement parts are readily available should damage occur from any accidental ‘heavy landings’. A full refurbishing service is available .Minor repairs, under $100 will go ahead. We will quote you for major repairs. We endeavor to get your retracts back to you within 5 working days.
