Belford Oaks is a purpose-built, not-for-profit, community-based centre, which is registered for 35 children each day.
We are situated amongst oak trees, which is fundamental to our name and central to the local community.
We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach developed by Loris Malaguzzi, to children’s learning and through this approach we understand that children use many different ways to express their thoughts and creativity. The Educators at Belford Oaks recognise the environment as the third teacher and place great emphasis on exploring the natural environment; this is evident in the educational setting we create for the children especially the outdoor play spaces.
Our Kinder Programs
At Belford Oaks we provide a fully Funded Kindergarten program for both 3 year olds and 4 year olds, with in our Long Day Care setting. The Kindergarten Programs are run by two Bachelor trained teachers five days a week. The Kindergarten room is a 3-5 year old room with 15 children a day. Government requirements for children attending a Funded Kinder in the year before school are that children must be enrolled in our service for a minimum of 15 hours a week. As our program is run for 5 hours a day 5 days a week children must have access to a minimum of 3 days a week.

Our opening hours are Monday to Friday 7:30am to 6:00pm.
