About Buzz Productions

Buzz Productions is the film production arm of the publicity company, Buzz Corporate Communications. Its debut feature MISSING PIECES, starring Mark Boone Jr (BATMAN BEGINS, MEMENTO, Sons of Anarchy) and Melora Walters (THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT, COLD MOUNTAIN, Big Love), has won numerous awards on the international film festival circuit. Buzz CEO Estelle Buzzard is also an Executive Producer on THE LIFEGUARD starring Kristen Bell (FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL, Veronica Mars) which was in the Official Competition of the prestigious 2013 Sundance Film Festival.

About Estelle Buzzard


Estelle is a publicist, producer and the founding director of Buzz Productions and Buzz Corporate Communications. Her film credits as international publicist include award-winning films LITTLE SPARROWS, MORE 4 ME, BITTER ART and CRUSH.

Her executive producer credits include the award-winning US feature MISSING PIECES (starring Mark Boone Jnr and Melora Walters), and Liz Garcia's highly anticipated US drama THE LIFEGUARD (starring Kristen Bell).

As a publicist, Estelle represents a number of award winning Australian actors and directors, as well as the team at Nicholsons' Academy of Screen Acting. She has also consulted to numerous documentary and film production companies including Prospero Productions, Electric Pictures, Nexus 6 Films, Bolderpictures, Balthazar Media, Redfoot Films, Strongman Pictures, ASAP Films, Creation Box Films, Filmscope Entertainment, SARfilms, and Fade in Films. In addition, her company manages events and publicity for a number of film entities, including the French-Australian film festival, CinefestOZ; international digital media think tank, X Media Lab; and international sales agency, Odin's Eye Entertainment.

In 2006, Estelle established Buzz to pursue and finance her passion for film. Buzz is a registered consultancy group with the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) and a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Western Australia.
Prior to Buzz, Estelle worked for numerous companies across a variety of industries. While employed as a consultant with Porter Novelli she provided investor, community and media relations support to mining, export, biotechnology and telecommunications companies to name a few. She was also employed as Communications Manager of The University Club of Western Australia to develop and manage all internal and external communications, as well as oversee Club events, promotions, advertising and sponsorship.

During her four years in the entertainment industry as head of the PR/Promotions for a major US video games company, Estelle was responsible for promoting major brands such as Disney (THE LIZZIE MCGUIRE MOVIE), Pixar (TOY STORY, FINDING NEMO, THE INCREDIBLES, CARS), World Wrestling Entertainment, Britney Brands Inc, Nickelodeon (RUGRATS IN PARIS, JIMMY NEUTRON: BOY GENIUS, HEY ARNOLD, THE WILD THORNBERRYS, RUGRATS GO WILD, SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS, Blue's Clues) and Capcom (RESIDENT EVIL, STREET FIGHTER) across the Asia Pacific region, as well as various film spin-offs including EVIL DEAD and THE PUNISHER.

Estelle has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a Professional Certificate in Executive Screen Production. She is a professional member of Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA), a professional member of the Australian Institute of Management WA (AIMWA), a professional member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Western Australia (CCI), a founding member AIMWA's Emerging Leaders Committee and has been on the Board of Directors for Playgroup WA since 2009.
