In the Canterbury-Bankstown district, sport is an integral part of life. Sport is also an effective means of bringing people together to tackle the important issues and bring about lasting change. Participation in sport is essential for the development of young men and women to achieve a successful and balanced life. Sporting facilities are equally essential for the success of sport and to nurture the talent of the next generation of sports players.

The objective is to provide financial assistance to the local community's future sports players towards achieving honours in their sporting field whilst also allowing them to pursue their goals and ambitions. Our primary goal is to support youth and their development as sports players. The Forward to Belmore initiative has been established to raise funds and to develop and run programs that accentuate the full potential of the Canterbury-Bankstown districts' next generation of athletes.

The Forward to Belmore initiative aims to promote participation of the next generation of local athletes in all sports and recreational activities. Back to Belmore Inc. receives several requests for donations and/or assistance from many worthy local sporting groups each month. Unfortunately, we are unable to fulfil every worthwhile request due to the overwhelming volume of requests received.
