The Village Christmas Story

It's Christmas Eve in the village, after returning from church the family gathers in their cosy cottage anxiously awaiting a magical night. Each house is filled with the essence of all that is christmas: smells of spiced apple cider and good thinks baking in the oven. The glow and sparkle of lights and ornaments on the christmas trees. candles shining brightly in every window, and crackling fires in fireplaces all of which create a feeling of warmth throughout the village. Children sit wide eyed as their grandparents tell them stories of christmas past.
Outside, the whispering snow covers the cozy village with a sparkling blanket. The singing of christmas carols echos through the tiny village. High above, Santa's sleigh drawn by eight reindeer approaches. As the last of the children drift off to sleep, the sleigh lands on each rooftop and Santa Claus bounds down the chimney to leave stockings filled with toys and to bring joy to each little girl and boy...

It's Christmas Time once again!
