Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What style of music do you play?
A: We have an extensive repitour that allows us to play almost any style to suit the function / venue. Classic rock, current top 40, country, country rock, reggae, 50'sand 60’s rock ‘n’ roll, and easy listening.

Q: How many members in the band?
A: The band can have from 2 members up to 5 members depending on the client’s requirements. We have also been known to have more on odd occasions.

Q: How far do you travel?
A: We can travel to where ever is required.  The main area that we service is Cairns to Mackay and out to Mt Isa and everything in-between. We are set up to travel by road, air or water.

Q: Where did the name Bindi and the Sneekers come from?
A: The name of the band started out life as simply ‘The Sneekers’. The front man for the band is Bindi so the DJ’s in the clubs were referring to them as Bindi and the boys from the Sneekers, which soon shortened to Bindi and the Sneekers. The name had then grown and created a new life all of its own.

Q: What other charities has the band supported over the years?
A: Qld Cancer Foundation, Guide Dogs Qld, Sporting Wheelies, Lifeline, Roslyn Kratzman Foundation and a few more that just don’t come to mind at the moment.

Q: What is the future of Bindi and the Sneekers?
A: We all still enjoy what we do so we will just keep on doing it. There is another original album in the works so keep a watch on the website and we will let you know when that is finished.

Q: Does the band do backyard partys?
A: Yes we do, but there is always the problem with noise. It only takes one complaint from a neighbor for the police to turn up on your doorstep, weather the sound level is excessive or not. My suggestion to you is to check with your neighbors and let them know what you want to do, (unless you have already invited them all to the party) and then check with your local police station………Good Luck.
