The alumni of the Rotary Youth Exchange program now become ROTEX members.

District 9640 Youth Exchange Committee will assign the different Rotex members to their sponsor countries as ambassadors, to help the Committee to train the students going out to those countries in the next year, particularly in their role as ambassadors for YEP, Rotary and Australia.. 

The role of ROTEX: the returned student is an ambassador for the host country; they promote the host country at the interviews and camps, they help with the annual Alumni Dinner and they can become Rotaractors, ROTEX, and hopefully Rotarians in the future.
