Support
Remote support is currently being charged at $70 per hour with a
minimum charge of $35. The minimum charge will buy you 30 minutes of
support.
Alternatively, if you prefer, I can give you a fixed price quote based
on a description of the problem.
Remote
support is available for Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 & 11
and Linux. Remote
support consists of downloading a small program and then running it to
create a connection to my computer. This allows me to see your screen
and control the mouse and keyboard.
The following services are available remotely.
- Malware removal.
- Setting up new hardware such as printers & scanners
- Installing new software
- Configuration
issues
- Backing up
important data to USB flash drives, DVD or external hard disks. Backups
can be fully automated to run daily, weekly or monthly.

While the remote support session is active all data
transmitted between
the two computers is encrypted
for security.
