Who is A Reserve?
A Reserve Entertainment came about through the meeting of its founders, Mark Hall and Phil Jacombs, at a non-professional musical theatre company. Over several years, Mark and Phil found they both shared a deep love of creative endeavours. In 1990, Mark and Phil formed A Reserve, with the intention of turning it into a professional theatre company.

When a colleague invited Mark and Phil to produce a “special event”, they willingly accepted, and A Reserve’s event business was born.

With Phil’s background in management and sales he was only too aware of the importance of personal service and attention to detail, and with Mark’s creative and theatrical background, A Reserve was on a winning combination. We have come along way from our early days, to be positioned as one of the leading Australian corporate event producers with an extensive and impressive event production history in every major city of Australia, and other regional countries within the APAC rim.

 
Over the years, we have built solid working relationships with leading Australian and International suppliers of production equipment and services in the areas of lighting, sound, vision, staging and set construction, special effects, fireworks and a variety of other key components of the total event package. We also have a vast national and international network of experienced production crewmembers from which to draw. In addition, to the technical side of things, we regularly use Australia’s best caterers.

A Reserve currently employs a custom Total Quality Management process, based on a number of widely accepted industry models.

Our guiding principle in the management and delivery of major events, is the implementation of management systems based on the exercise of our “Duty of Care” to our employees, contractors and suppliers and non -employees (members of the public attending events managed by A Reserve).
